An owner operator with 26 years Engineering and Machining, Reclamation, Repair and Modification experience in a vast array of Earthmoving, Underground and Surface Mining, Shipping, Marine, Transport and Agricultural Machinery and Systems.
We operate modern, latest model fully optioned Mobile Bore Welding and Powerful Hydraulic and Electric Mobile Line Boring machines capable of welding and boring up to 1000mm diameter. We have a range of Line-boring machines, and an extensive range of associated tooling such as large or small Facing Heads, Boring Bars, Internal Support Bearings, measuring gear and customized mounting and adaption fixtures to ensure our capabilities are the most comprehensive and up to date in the Onsite Lineboring business.
This, combined with our own full machine shop facilities ensures the best possible equipment available is used on your repair, and that your downtime or manufacturing process is minimal.
Mobile Line Boring
You can't perform quality line boring work without great tools. Our operation offers the most up to date Lineboring and Bore welding machinery on the world market, capable of welding, facing and boring up to 1000mm diameter.
Our Hydraulic or electric Onsite Line boring machinery is portable and can be brought onto your site. We can do onsite Milling, Boring, Facing and Internal Welding.
Mobile Bore Repair
We can ID Bore Weld and accurately machine your worn components to original specs, or at times it is preferable to machine the worn Bore larger and fit a Sleeve.
We can provide comprehensive advice of best repair practices and re-engineering of components, often creating a service life greater than the original new part.
On Site Flange Facing
We can setup our mobile Lineboring and onsite Facing equipment and machine distorted Flanges in a wide variety of applications such as Check Valves, mounting points and Seal Faces.
We offer large and small Facing Heads for our lineboring gear and can machine different surface profiles and finishes such as Gramophone finish, which is often required on Flanges.
Onsite Specialised Machining
We have capacity to Drill, Tap, Bore, Face Flanges and Machine Internal Circlip Grooves or perform specialized machining.
No two jobs are the same; we create a plan based on decades of experience to get your machinery repaired properly with minimum fuss. We have even built and modified line boring machines to suit specific jobs where through a range of circumstances, such as poor access or confined spaces, usual equipment could not be used for the repair.
Ships and Marine Vessels are a prime example of this. Facing and machining Stern Tubes in situ are always in tight spaces where experience and industry knowledge is essential to get the job done right
Machine Shop Service
In addition to Mobile Onsite line boring, or in situ Machining, we are able to perform all facets of Fabrication, Precision Machining, Milling and Boring processes in our fully equipped machine shop.
Flameproof Enclosure Machining, Hydraulic Cylinder repair, Excavator and Dozer component reclamation are examples of everyday types of work undertaken in the workshop.
Many onsite Lineboring repairs require additional services of traditional Engineering equipment like Lathes and Milling Machines to complete the workscope, and we offer this as a one-stop shop. This sets us apart for most other mobile line boring contractors offering a complete repair service.
On Site Welding
We carry both Mig and Stick welding machines and are available to weld onsite in many different applications, including repair, maintenance and manufacture.
Often there is crack repair or weld repair required on a machine or component we are line boring. Offering a comprehensive onsite service, we can Magnetic Particle test the crack, remove it before control welding the area and blending to ensure the repair is absolutely the best possible once again working with a customer to minimise future unforeseen downtime.
